2011/12 Official Students' Union Budget - Xaverian Weekly

The Xaverian Weekly’s budget consists primarily of costs associated with weekly publication, staff honoraria, Canadian University Press membership fees, and a conference allowance. Though The Xaverian Weekly is financially dependent on the students’ union, it is an editorially autonomous publication. All editorial content is under the exclusive control of the editor-in-chief who in turn is monitored by the Xaverian Weekly’s publication board. The Xaverian Weekly employs a managing editor who solicits advertisements to offset some of the operating costs each year.
