The Research Officers report directly to the Students’ Union President. They are responsible to conduct research on student opinion on topics as assigned by the Students’ Union President. This research will aid the Students’ Union in improving their services, including events and advocacy work. Research Officers are responsible for conducting at least one major research survey each semester and presenting the findings of said surveys to the Students’ Union Representative Council. Applicants should have good communication skills and an interest in student life. Office hours for this position are to be determined by the Students’ Union Representative Council but will range from 5-10 per week.
