My name is Adam Hunter but around campus I known as BDA. I am in my fifth year here at X. I am one half of the arts council for this year and am here to make sure that the arts students get their voices heard. As a student in the arts program I am focusing on History with a minor in English with the hopes of continuing on to Education. I am a very easy going person who enjoys meeting new people and helping with the betterment of the student body experience.

This is my fourth year at StFX studying Human Kinetics and my third year working for the Students’ Union. I began my Union début as the Lower Campus Councilor and loved the experience so much that I decieded to take on a larger role. Basically my job is working an managing House Councils (House Presidents and Vice Presidents) as well as the Off Campus Council (Off Campus Leaders). I am the primary liaison between the Students’ Union and the Residence Office and I also help to plan various activities such as House Hockey Cups. Outside the Union, I live with five roommates and go to as many wing nights as possible! I also volunteer doing Positive Space Training and my hobbies include, finishing up the Harry Potter series, cooking, exercising and drawing. I love to talk, so if you ever want to come up to the fourth floor to chat, I would be more than thrilled! Cheers!

My name is Alex Nicole Musial. I am so excited to be one of your student senators for the 2009-2010 year. I am currently in my third year of study in the BBA program majoring in Leadership Studies. I grew up in Waverley, Nova Scotia, have two younger sisters and a dog and I love the theatre.

Aside from my school and senate work I am the House Director of Lane Hall which I absolutely love, but it definitely keeps me very busy! I also regularly participate in theatre productions on and off campus.

I’ve been working with the U for the past three years. I started in my second year as the Society Coordinator and am now the VP Union Services for my second term. I love my job because I get to meet new and unique people. The most satisfaction I get is when someone approaches me that I’ve never met, asks if I work for the U and then has a question that I can actually answer! The best advice I’ve ever gotten was: “you’re never too young or inexperienced to get involved. Just jump right in- if not now, then when?"
On a personal note I love whales, travelling, the harmonica, and weekly lexicons in the Chronicle Herald.

I was raised in Gormanville, Hants County, NS. I did my undergrad at StFX in English and History and was lucky enough to study in England and travel Europe for a semester of my third year. I am in my final year of the bachelor of education program here at StFX. I love the outdoors, natural history, camping, gardening, volleyball and reading. Hello my name is Brian Park and I am one of your Student Senators for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am currently in my fourth year of studies in Business, majoring in Accounting. This is my third year attending school at X. My first year, I attended at Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta. When I’m not hitting the books in the library you may find me; socializing amongst the Sub, grabbing a bite to eat in Morrison Hall, hitting the KMC for a round of hockey, or having a time at the Inn. My interests outside the school include; skiing, golfing, and travelling around the globe. This is my fourth year at X, and my third year working with The U. As a Student Advocate, I am here to represent students that run into trouble with the Community Code. Hey X, My name is Danielle Levesque and I am one of your Business/IS councilors for 2009-10! My job as Business councilor is to represent my constituents at Council meetings and vote on your behalf on issues that affect YOU. In addition to being your business councilor I am also the Union Station Clothing Store Coordinator this year. When I'm not up on forth floor you can find me hanging out with friends, on the field during intramurals, being a nerd at the lib or out for some social times at the local establishments. Dave Faour is a third year Philosophy student from St. John's, NL. Faour's involvement with the  Students' Union started at the end of his first year when he was elected to Council as Upper Campus Councillor. He is continuing his Union involvement this year working as Deputy Chair of Council. When not "doing Philosophy", Faour can usually be found hanging out at at his home in Governor's Hall, the Council Office, with the X-Debate team, and (from time to time) enjoying a cold one at the Golden X Inn.

Very little is actually known about Erica O‚Gorman. When searched in the scholastic resource, Wikipedia no results were given, which proves that she may not technically even exist. One thing is known for sure though, amidst a mound of hair curlier than a tapeworm through a small intestine lays a penchant for finding homes for those in need. If compared to a species in the animal kingdom one would probably choose a brood parasite such as the cuckoo. Her primal drive sends her into the nests of loving Antigonish homes with the soul intention of establishing students in the maternal nest and leaving them to be brought up as one of their own. As a student in one of these homes, you may never fit in, but you will be treated as one of the tribe. You can watch for Erica on campus stalking her next empty nest. Otherwise, she will be a voice in the wind that echoes from the bottom of an empty milkshake.

Hey, my name is Jordan McKenzie and I'm your Upper Campus Councillor. I am a second year business student from Whitehorse, Yukon. I love any exciting sport and going somewhere I've never been. I usually snowboard in the winters and white water raft in the summers. I try to be friendly so come talk to me!

Hey everyone! I‚m Kelly Aylward and I‚m the representative for Governors and New Rez on the Students‚ Union Council this year. I‚m a 4th year Psychology student from Pleasant View, Prince Edward Island. Other than representing my peers on council, I am also a campus police officer, campus tour guide, and loyal patron of Inn. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing my guitar, and traveling the world.

This is my 4th year at StFX and my second year as society coordinator working with the U. In my spare time I enjoy drinking beer at wing night, participating in StFX Intramurals with my championship winning team, studying on the 3rd floor of the Library, running around Antigonish, and enjoy a good afternoon nap every once in a while. I also spend a few hours a week in my office keeping up with all of the various societies we have on campus.

Hailing from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, this is my fourth year at StFX and my first year working with The U. Prior to my position as Student Advocate, I earned my stripes in the Community Code by sitting on the StFX University Appeals Committee. You can find me at the Student Advocate Office or at the Xaverian Weekly newsroom, the home of the only on-campus, student run newspaper at StFX.

I serve as Senior Reporter, a member of the Publications Board, and formerly as Features Editor. Finally, I also represent StFX students on the Board of Directors of Theatre Antigonish and GAPACC, Antigonish’s local arts council. My office hours are Monday from 10am to 11am, Wednesday 3:30pm to 4:30pm, and Thursday 11am to 12pm. We Student Advocates are confidential, helpful and here for U!

I started volunteering at the food bank in my second year at StFX, this is my first year working with The U. The student food bank is a confidential service available to ALL students. We are located on West Street across from the practice field. Unfortunately not many people know about the food bank, my main goal this year is to spread the word!! We are always holding fundraisers and promotional events, if anyone is interested in helping out or has any ideas come visit me in my office. The door is always open

Lindsay Pearl is from Kentville, Nova Scotia found in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. She is currently pursuing a Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing and plans to start a career in sales or public relations. Lindsay spent her freshman year living in Lane Hall and although she currently lives off-campus she will always remain a pitbull at heart. This year she will serve as a Business and Information Systems councillor and the president of ACE St.FX, a social entrepreneurship society. In addition Lindsay takes part in the X Project Weekend Program and has been a member of the Dean of Student's Discipline Committee.

Hey there, my name is Matt LeMoine and I am the 2009-2010 Frosh Councillor! If your ever looking for me you will probably find me either on the 4th floor SUB, one the basketball court or sitting in Meal Hall for extremely long periods of time. I enjoy picnics in the park, Belgium Waffles and a good home cooked lasagna!

This is my second year at X and I am currently the VP of Fraser. Being involved in school has always been a part of my life from my high school students’ council to my current role as VP. My first year at StFX was like nothing I have ever experienced before and the impression it made was definitely an awesome one. I really wanted to see students coming into first year have the same unreal experience that I had and I thought the best way to do that would be to be part of it all. So far this year I have met countless people, made many new friends and connections. There isn’t enough good to say about the team working at The U and have never been this proud to say what school I go to and how I am involved!

What’s up guys, I’m Michael Cadegan, your Lower Campus Councillor for the 2009-2010 academic year. I’m a second year biology student born and raised in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I currently live in Fraser, Bishops Hall. When I’m not doing council duties or schoolwork, I enjoy chilling with friends and listening to some tunes. I am also a campus tour guide, involved in Best Buddies, Oxfam, Pre-Med society, WUSC and many other committees as well. If you ever see me around campus give me a shout, and tell me what’s on your mind with regards to the Union and Lower Campus!

It’s my third year and X and I’ve been loving every minute of it! As soon as I stepped on the campus and saw the craziness that is our frosh week and O-Crew I knew right away that I had to be apart of it. In the past two years I’ve gotten to experience crazy events, sweet awards (best frosh week in Canada) and so much more. I encourage everyone to look into doing O-Crew as honestly, I’ve had more fun the two frosh weeks that I’ve been involved with it than my own. I am a fourth year accounting student and it is my first year working directly with The U. I wanted to find a way to become involved with my school in a field that I was interested in and have found myself crunching some numbers on fourth. I am originally from St. Stephen New Brunswick but more recently located in Unionville Ontario. I have spent a couple years in MacNeil and am finishing my stint here on church street. I am involved with various societies and intramurals and enjoy the occasional social experience at the bistro or lower 117. I am always here and available to help you get involved so stop up and check fourth floor out.

Fourth year student from beautiful North Sydney studying Political Science. Started with the Campus Police at the end of my first year and it has been a great experience. It’s a great campus job. You get to meet tons of great people, both Campus Police, and Union and University employees.

This is my 6th year at X!! Crazy I know. I spent the first four years here dusting off history books and now I am getting ready to inspire the leaders of tomorrow over at Xavier Hall. I’ve been a CP since the end of my first year and this is my first year as part of the Union Executive team. So far things have been going great, please get in contact me if you have any questions or concerns about campus safety and security. Also, I’m a trained first aid instructor who can and will be providing courses for Student Union societies, employees, and members (you!). Before TheU I played football for 5 years and am helping out as a coach this year, Go X Go!

I’m just living the life in my third year at X. I’m from a place called Mermaid, PEI and now live off-campus here in the Nish. I ran on the X-Men Cross-country team my first two years and enjoy carrot juice. As the Enviro Officer for the U, I run awareness campaigns, meet with House Council Reps, work with environmentally based societies, and try to keep your Union as Green as possible. If you have any ideas or want to help out, let me know. I am a local boy from Antigonish and I’ve been living Off Campus my whole life! I got my start with the Union in my second year as a member of O-Crew and then as an Off Campus Councilor. I remained an Off Campus Councilor for 3 years before putting my name on the ballot for the President’s position. Between basketball, unicycling and just having a great time all the time, you can usually find me around the SUB, Xavier Hall or the Oland Centre. Give me a shout if you see me walking somewhere because I love talking to people! Catch you later!

This is my third year at StFX and my third year working with The U. I got my start with the marketing team in 2007 and have been dedicated to The U ever since. It’s awesome to work with The U and explore the limitless ability of our students! Together we’ve accomplished awesome feats including MTV’s best Frosh Week in Canada, the highest voter turnout in Canada for our general election, the best Shinerama campaign in the country, a truly epic wing night, we’ve had awesome Christmas Balls, X-Ring parties and the list goes on. My name is Sheryl MacAulay and I hail from Souris, Prince Edward Island. I am currently completing my 4th year at X. This is my third year involved with the Students’ Union. I received my jumpstart as House President of Chillis, continued on as Arts Councilor and now am Vice President of Your Students’ Union. When I am not working for you, I like to keep myself active by playing soccer, ringette, intramurals and taking random adventures through the country side.
