Hi, I'm Evan Read a 4th year student doing a Joint Advanced Major in History and Political Science. I hail from Georgetown, Ontario a relatively unknown place west of Toronto. I've enjoyed my time here at X and am excited for an excellent final year in the 'Nish. In addition to Council, I am the President of the Political Science Society, Treasurer for the History Society and a member of the University Discipline Committee. When not in class I can be found enjoying a good chat, a cold beer or a nice stroll around town. I am eager for another busy and productive year in the Chair's Office!

My name is Kate Whitters and I am your Deputy Chair of Council this coming year. I’m a 4th year Biology student with plans to go into Secondary Education. I come from a small town in southern New Brunswick and was a Chillis Chick before moving off campus. I’m really looking forward to taking minutes at council meetings and making them available to you, letting you know what council is getting up to! In addition, I’ll be helping Evan with anything he needs and overseeing the Elections Office. In my spare time I like to hang with my roomies, play field hockey, stumble upon, and count down to X-Ring.

Hey Guys!
My name is Sara Walsh and I'm your Chief Returning Officer for 2011-2012. I am a third year English student from PEI and a former TNT tiger! In addition to this position, I am a member of the StFX Field Hockey team and I volunteer with a variety of things around Antigonish. In my spare time, I enjoy making lists, running, the beach, and being with my six roommates! I am really excited to be helping out with the Student's Union this year and if you have any questions about any of the upcoming elections, please feel free to contact me!

Hi!

I’m a second year Bachelor of Arts student from Ottawa and I am in love with everything X has to offer. This is my first year working for the U, my second year as Archivist at CFXU, and I’m also VP of the Mount. Coming from a city, I love the close-knit feel our campus has- everyone feels like family. In my spare time you can catch me at Goodlife’s Zumba class, playing ukulele, napping or watching Glee. I love to experience new things and I am looking forward to helping the elections run smoothly this year. I like to think I’m pretty friendly, so if you see me around campus, I’d love to meet you!

I'm a second year Arts student, and am really excited to help with the union in this up coming year. I hail from Calgary AB, and absolutely love being in Antigonish. I am the president of SALUTE, as well as involved with several other societies. I also play and Referee in the inter-mural hockey program here at X. I am looking forward to helping out and working with the other members of The U and with the entire STFX community in this upcoming year. I would also like to extend an open invitation for anyone to drop by during my office hours or when ever if they have any questions or queries regarding the election process or any of the other workings of the chairs office.
