Event Planning
The Event Review Committee is made up of representatives from both the University and the Students’ Union. Members of the Event Review Committee are termed ’ stakeholders’ in that they have a vested interest in the Primary Event Organizers understanding their roles and the moral and legal responsibility associated with planning a successful, safe and inclusive event for the students, staff, faculty and employees of the St. Francis Xavier University community.
Those in positions of leadership take on the great responsibility of providing the students of StFX with many different options for social interaction. You are effectively shaping a part of their University experience by planning and holding events.
Any event planned is subject first and foremost to uphold the standards and responsibilities outlined in the Community Code of Conduct and the Residence Life Community Standards.
