Responsibilities

  • The Chair has three main reasonabilities: Upholding the By-Laws, managing elections, and running the Board of Directors.
  • The Chair acts as a liaison between the executive and the directors and an accountability measure for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • The Deputy Chair is the Chair's number one. The Deputy Chair is the acting chair if the Chair is missing, assists in the execution of the Chair's duties, and does the preparation and groundwork for board meetings.

 

Directors

WHAT DOES A Director DO?

The duty of a student representative is to represent the opinions, values, and concerns of their constituents to both our council and to other applicable governing bodies university wide. These members will also act as a liaison between their constituents and these governing bodies, and will keep you informed of any important matters. Make sure to reach out to these individuals about issues in your program or your community group to see them brought to our monthly board of directors meetings!

The Directors Office is located on the 4th floor of Bloomfield in office 413.

  • As an Equity Representative, my duty is to promote the importance of inclusivity and diversity. I lobby the university administration regarding equity concerns, such as campus accessibility, discrimination and harassment protocols.
